The group of VM3s traveling to South Africa this summer is collecting veterinary textbooks to donate to a program called Vet Books for Africa, an initiative to distribute veterinary medicine books to schools in countries throughout Africa (https://www.vetbooksforafrica.org/). It’s an awesome program that this trip has supported in the past, and we’d like to take as many books with us as we can!
Two bins have been set up, a gray bin at the VHC near the mailboxes and a pink basket in the tile lounge room in the main hallway of the Vet Med building. If you have a lot of books at home that you don’t want to carry to campus, we can also pick them up—just email me at smn632@missouri.edu.
