The Board of Directors of the Canine Comparative Oncology Genomics Consortium (CCOGC) has agreed to distribute the existing tissue samples in the Pfizer-CCOGC Biospecimen Repository for research activities at nominal cost to investigators. The Pfizer-CCOGC Biospecimen Repository acquired more than 60,000 samples from ~1800 dogs with naïve disease using rigorously controlled standard operating protocols from seven veterinary teaching hospitals. The samples are derived from seven histologies, including osteosarcoma, lymphoma, melanoma, mast cell tumor, pulmonary tumors, hemangiosarcoma, and soft tissue sarcomas.
